Flashing computer screens! the screens alternate between several
different graphics, kinda like secutity camera monitors. WITHOUT
new textures I should point out. :) The screen on the left is trans66
(66% opaque). That strange "rip" in the picture was my attempt at
trying to show what happens, didn't turn out great, but now that you know
what happens you can see.

Water that accually looks like water, getting darker and more distored
as the depth increases. Really cool. It's done using brushes
with the black texture stacked progressively at least 1 unit from eachother
and the walls, I did these at 8 units for easy of construction, easy of
understanding without having to zoom in all the way, and so that light
I have that bulges out of the wall looks right.

This little baby is a slight hack to get rid of those annoying/theme unfitting
teleport pads. The trick on it's own leaves nothing visible ot the
eye of any tract of a teleport pad, but you can add something yourself
like I did in this example.
Alot of people have said that you can accomplish this same trick by simply burrying the pad 1 unit under the surface, I've tried it and it works. BUT there are some compilers our there that won't like it and will say it's a leak (I can't remember which ones, I just know I had a leak when I compiled with external utilities in QERadient, sorry). At the very least these make good prefabs :) Submitted by: DarkVein |

The above slipgate hack take two, except cooler looking. =D It's
one of mine again, basicly it's the above trick, except with a different
visual replacement, and I like it, heh. The only problem with it
is that it becomes totaly invisible if you set the window flag, which would
get rid of that "paper thin" appearence it gives off, but this way it looks
like a bubble, even though I wanted it to look like energy or something.
